Position: Spectroscopy Technician (Will Train)
Qualifications: An educational background in science or engineering is strongly desired and an emphasis in chemistry is preferred. Training on analysis equipment (operation and maintenance) will be provided to qualified applicants.Previous experience with the following analysis techniques is desired:
- SEM
- EDX
- GC-MS
Responsibilities:
- Make chemical solutions, prepare fuel cell materials, and assemble/disassemble fuel cell components under the supervision of senior members of the technical staff
- Assist with assembly and testing of fuel cells and components
- Coordinate material purchases, manage laboratory chemical inventory, and coordinate shipping
- Safely operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Support and maintain laboratory infrastructure
- Maintain operational efficiency of work and/or laboratory work spaces
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a team
- Good technical writing skills
